2025학년도 학생들의 학업 성취를 위하여 전과전형을 안내하오니, 전과를 준비중인 학생은 아래 내용을 참고하시기 바랍니다.

Hello, this is from Inha International Student Services Office.

To ensure students' academic achievement, we are informing you of the 2025 departmental transfer(major transfer) process.

Students who are preparing to transfer majors, please refer to the information below.

 국제학부 이외의 학과로 전입하는 경우 : 기존과 동일

In the case of transferring to a department other than the School of Global Convergence Studies, the transfer regulations are the same as last year.

 

 국제학부(IBT학과, ISE학과, KLC학과)로 전입하는 경우 : 전출 규정 완화

If you are going to transfer to the School of Global Convergence Studies(IBT, ISE, KCL), you can transfer regardless of the number of students allowed in your department.

 

 

1. 변경 사항 / Changed regulations

만약 아래 조건을 만족한다면, 국제학부로 전과를 할 수 있습니다.

If you meet the conditions below, you can transfer to the SGCS(IBT, ISE, KLC).

국제학부 전과를 희망하는데, 현재 유효한 어학능력이 없다면 빠른 취득이 요구됩니다.

So, students without valid language proficiency scores are required to obtain them quickly.

< 어학능력 / Language proficiency >

* IELTS 5.5 이상 또는 TOEFL iBT 71 이상

* Meet the English grade requirements when entering the department (IELTS 5.5 or above, or TOEFL iBT 71 or above)

※ 어학능력 요건은 IBT, ISE학과 전과 지원자만 해당됨. KLC학과 전과지원자는 영어성적 제출 필요 없음.

※ Only for IBT, ISE. Applicants who apply to KLC don’t need to submit their English score.

2. 주요 일정 / Schedule 

2025학년도 전과전형은 12월 말 공지될 예정이며, 자세한 일정은 2024년 12월 공지를 통해 확인 바랍니다.

The departmental transfer schedule will be noticed at the end of Dec 2024. Please refer the notice.

The above schedule may vary depending on the progress of the process

 

3. 유의사항 / Notice

 

1) 전과 제도는 2, 3, 4학년 전과로 진행되며, 재학 중 1회만 가능함

The departmental transfer system consists of 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade transfer and it can be done 1 time while attending school

2) 2개 학기(정규등록) 이상 이수하였으며, 7개 학기를 초과하지 않아야 함

You need to complete 2 ~ 7 semesters (not over than 7 semesters)

3) 학년별 전과 제도는 전형요강의 학과별 요건을 따름 (요강은 2024년 12월 중 공지 예정)

The transfer regulation for each grade will follow the requirements of each department (Detailed specifications will be posted at the end of 2024)

4) 영어성적 제출 마감일 이전까지 유효한 영어성적 취득 필요

You should get a valid English score before the submission date (Specific schedule will be posted at Dec 2024)

5) KLC학과 전과 전입 시에는 영어 성적을 제출할 필요 없음

Applicants who apply to KLC don’t need to submit their English score.

6) 국제학부로 ‘전입’ 시에만 전과 전출에 대한 완화 규정을 적용함

The eased regulations apply only when you transfer to the School of Global Convergence Studies department.

7) 일반학과 전과 지원 시 토익 성적으로 제출 가능하나, 국제학과 지원 시 입학 시 요구하는 IELTS, TOEFL 등 어학 성적 기준을 제출하여야 함

If you transfer to general departments, you can submit the TOEIC score however, if you apply to the Global Convergence Studies department,
you need to submit the valid English score they require when you apply to the department for a new student. (IELTS, TOEFL, etc.)

8) 졸업 요건은 전과한 학과의 졸업 규정을 따름

You need to follow the new department’s Requirements for Graduation.
